Upon check in, the views were great. The room was visually fine. We were looking forward to a quick dip in the pool after a 3 hours ride to Alghero. The pool was closed at 6 PM even though it's not dark until nearly 9 PM ? However, the room was off and not up to the standards, the A/C was inoperable and the pungent odor of mold was overwhelming. We would have just opened the porch doors. However, it was buggy and the mosquitoes were about. We woke up with runny eyes and sore throats, no Bueno! We bolted early and all issues relented with some fresh Sardinia air and beach time. 1 night was too many, I'd pass on this one.
