We recently returned from a fantastic 2-night stay at the Monarto Safari Resort and had a wonderful time immersing ourselves in the wildlife! ?The Room ?We stayed in a Savannah Room, which was spacious, neat, clean, and very comfortable. The highlight was definitely the pleasant terrace. It was the perfect spot to unwind and look out over the park—we loved being able to spot the pond in the distance where the hippos hang out! ?The Safaris (The absolute highlight!) ?Both the Sunset and Dawn Safaris were absolutely brilliant. We saw a great variety of animals, ranging from the very small to the grand. The depth of knowledge shared was fantastic, but a very special thank you must go to Jon—he is a great storyteller who made the whole experience come alive for us. We truly enjoyed every minute of these tours! ? Dining & Service ?The breakfast itself was very good. However, the seating process left a bit to be desired. The way the staff organized the seating felt unnecessarily long and overly complicated, which slowed things down in the morning. A bit of streamlining here would make the start of the day much smoother. ?Overall, it was a truly unique and enjoyable experience. We highly recommend a stay here for anyone looking to get closer to the wild!
