Beautiful location except for the 3 am wake up call every morning from the roosters and dogs barking and fighting. My husband got food poisoning from the restaurant and spent 3 days in bed. The staff were not friendly and the waitress for dinner was sick and coughed with a runny nose the whole time we were there.Cant swim in the lagoon due to raw sewage going into it,the pools are very small. Gardens are beautiful and well maintained. We stayed for 2 weeks,our linen was not changed once, I even stripped the bed so they would put new linen on it,they put the old linen back on. We have stayed in many places in Vanuatu, however we will not go back to Poppies.
