We spent a lot of money on our stay and we were extremely disappointed. Room and Staff were great. Otherwise, tons of children. The pools, restaurants and lobbies were crowded and noisy. Advertised 7 "restaurants" but each night we were there only 3+/- were open, the ones we wanted to dine at were closed 2 of the 3 nights of our stay. There is no true "beach" anywhere nearby, only a semi man-made enclosed lagoon. The food was inconsistent and about average at best (with stingy portions). 15 minute wait for omelet at breakfast buffet. Liquor selection was average and although "all-inclusive" the only wines offered (without having to pay for) were a house red or white. There is little to do outside of the resort. It is an enclosed "Americanized" community with some ticky-tacky touristy boutiques and few inspiring bars or restaurants nearby. There is an interesting area that one can watch some very entertaining dolphins do tricks. Seemed to work for many other guests but absolutely not for us, especially after the big bucks we paid.....
