perfect location right on the edge of Derwentwater, the spa is absolutely amazing making full advantage of the views over the lake and mountains. The whole hotel looks brand new inside, every area is immaculately clean. The only thing that stopped it from being a totally perfect weekend was the lack of gluten free options at breakfast which is particularly disappointing given that we had advised that there were 2 members of the group with coeliac disease 12 days in advance.
