We have been on numerous walked past this pub over the years, but never popped in. On this occasion, we did. On arrival we went through the main entrance and saw a table, I went to sit down as my partner went to the bar. We were met with a tall chap who hollered 'have you booked?'. My other half said. No, we we are just popping in for drinks but may hwve a bite to eat. This was met with. 'Go to the bar then.. walk down there,turn right then tight again. We did. Sat down at a table with stools. My partner ordered drinks. Another couple came in at this time and sat down by the bar. Moments after.. 3 men came in and told them to 'move' as the seats were 'theirs'. The couple, red faced, moved. The three men laughed. To be honest.. the atmosphere was so uncomfortable in this place.. and at ￡16 for a glass of wine!! - Wow We will never return. Sad really. Rude staff.. very over priced. Sad. I adore our hospitality industry and support it 100%.. but this place is just awful.
