My wife and I expected a good quality room for this overnight stay. We do not understand how so many people gave glowing accounts of their stay.
I have use Hotel in the past and this is the first disappointment I have had.
Got hotel aroun 10pm
Reception at the lounge bar.
Given keys for room 12.
Stairs up to room filthy , decor poor.
Got to room 12 furniture tired,dated and falling apart.as well as the bed .
Bathroom was newer , after using it , my wife wanted to leave . It was the final straw . Toilet brush was full of god knows and sitting a holder with brown liquid in it.
We decided within Ten minutes that we could not stay .
I gave manager the key and left.
Decided to drive home to Scotland and just put the money down to experience.
