Stayed one night, excellent buffet lunch with home baked mini pasties, sausage rolls and exceptional Victoria Sandwich. This is a cosy, family run hotel, friendly staff, quintessentially old England with Mahogany furniture, French antique beds, generous breakfast. (Delicious toast!). Comprehensively stocked bar and comfy lounge. Located right opposite a pub and next to the little post office. Close to the village church. Would be fabulous on a sunny spring or summer day. Perfect for a party or wake!
