Arrivée en train ce dimanche 19 octobre pour 2 nuits, l'h?tel est tout proche, tant mieux car la météo n'est pas favorable. Très bon accueil, quelques infos pratiques et nous gagnons notre chambre. Elle est bien meublée, vaste avec un grand lit.Les toilettes sont séparées de la salle de bain équipée d'une baignoire avec douche. Ouf, la fenêtre n'est pas condamnée, pratique pour prendre le frais. Idéalement situé à proximité d'un centre commercial et à même pas 10 mn du centre ville ancien. Le restaurant "La Passerelle" inclus dans l'h?tel permet de rester au sec avec cette météo capricieuse. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est copieux, gourmand avec ses produits locaux salés et sucrés.Mention toute particulière pour la gentillesse de la dame qui le gère. Tout le confort est là, il participe très bien au confort du séjour.

Redelijk nieuw hotel in een vernieuwde buurt. Mooi gelegen aan de haven. Rustige en comfortabele kamer. Eigen gesloten parking, niet zo groot maar veel gratis parkeergelegenheid in de buurt. Winkels in de buurt en veel restaurants dichtbij. Geen ontbijt genomen.

We loved this hotel and will definitely be back next time we are catching a ferry from Cherbourg. The rooms are spacious and bright with floor to ceiling windows giving amazing views over the fishing harbour. The breakfast is excellent and the prices in the bar and restaurant are very reasonable if you don't fancy venturing into town or if you are there on a Sunday or Monday when most other restaurants in Cherbourg are closed. The staff are all exceptionally friendly and helpful and the cleaning team are phenomenal- they keep the whole hotel absolutely spotless. The free car park directly behind the hotel is a real asset too.

Hotel molto bello vicino al centro 5-10 minuti a piedi. Parcheggio di fianco alla struttura chiuso e recintato. La ns camera con balcone e vista porto era stupenda. Molto grande e dotata di tutti i comfort..macchinetta Nespresso inclusa. Bagno con vasca e doccia. Colazione in linea con i Mercure. Ristorante interno ottimo sia x la qualità che per il prezzo.

Voilà un h?tel qui fait honneur à ses étoiles. Nous avons passé deux nuits avec mon épouse dans le cadre d’une escapade dans le Cotentin. J’avoue que nous n’avons pas été dé?us ! L’h?tel bénéficie d’une superbe situation face au port de Cherbourg et à quelques petites minutes du centre ville. Le service était impeccable. N’hésitez pas à demander une chambre dans les étages hauts (il y en a 7) : la vue en est sublimée. Les grandes baies vitrées permettent de maximiser la lumière et les chambres c?té port accueillent des couchers de soleil somptueux ! Le petit déjeuner est très copieux , la propreté irréprochable, le personnel parfaitement professionnel, aucune fausse note selon moi. Bref, une expérience touristique exceptionnelle, j’y reviendrai les yeux fermés

Bad design This is a brand new hotel but with a major flaw in the design: huge expanses of glass in every direction meaning that on a hot day it gets very hot inside. I can see the attraction of making the most of the views, although why it needed a scenic lift facing the rear and the most drab view of car parks and buildings is beyond me, but this is really the worst example of bad design, totally unsuited to raising temperatures. Even with the aircon on you have to close all curtains when the sun hits the windows. Otherwise a standard modern hotel. Very helpful staff, particularly at reception where they make sure they warn you about the scenic lift which might take people with vertigo by surprise.

It was very handy having free car parking for this hotel. We were upgraded for free to a junior suite on the 5th floor which had fantastic views over the Bassin du Commerce. It was a good base to visit Cherbourg before returning to the UK by ferry. The location was a short walk from the fantastic fish restaurant we had booked (Le Clopoing) and which we could also see from our suite. Being a large corner room, we had good floor space, an excellent shower and large bed. Our only comment would be the quirky layout of the toilet being around the corner from the bathroom and sink.

L’h?tel est idéalement situé, à quelques minutes à pied du centre-ville et de la Cité de la Mer. Les chambres sont spacieuses, confortables, bien décorées et offrent une belle vue sur le port. Le petit déjeuner est de qualité et le personnel est très agréable. En clair, je vous conseille cet h?tel !
