Guest：Stayed at Golden Gate Hotel. The hotel rooms and their bathrooms had a bit of a revamp. Some areas of the hotel however do need some TLC. But the hotel is clean and perfectly positioned for breathtaking views. We loved our rooms that had a stunning view from the balcony of the Brandwag Buttress. The hotel staff was friendly and the restaurant food was incredibly tasty! Their mustard mash is to die for! And my personal breakfast favourite was the Eggs Benedict! There are several nice hikes to do in the area ranging from easy to difficult. The area is absolutely breathtaking this time of the year!
Guest：The surroundings are beautiful. The chalet is old, but ok. The food for breakfast and dinner in the restaurant is terrible. Cold meat and pasta and vergetables at the buffet. The lounge snacks are better, but not open after 18:00
Guest：We stayed in a self- catering chalet away from hustle bustle of the hotel and it was an excellent decision. The chalet was comfortable, clean and well- equipped. The sceneray was stunning! It was a good area to do many hike and we had a 7- hour, mother of all hikes, which was tiring but exhillaraing. The park management must do better to mark hiking trails instead of giving the lame excuse that they had a fire LAST YEAR! Our stay at the chalet was an unforttgetably beautiful. We will return!
