Reitoku Kohansanso is a traditional Japanese-style lodging located right beside Lake Yamanaka, with Mount Fuji as its backdrop. The building was formerly a leisure retreat for Toyota executives. We offer spacious Japanese-style tatami rooms as well as Western-style rooms, along with separate hot spring baths for men and women. All Japanese-style rooms—and some Western rooms—provide direct, effortless views of Mount Fuji, allowing you to enjoy its changing beauty from morning to noon to sunset.
Our location is extremely convenient. A 7-minute walk takes you to the bus stop with routes to Tokyo, Oshino Hakkai, Lake Kawaguchi, Mt. Fuji 5th Station, and Gotemba Premium Outlets. In just 2 minutes, you can walk to the shores of Lake Yamanaka and see the swans up close. A 10-minute walk brings you to Hana-no-Miyako Park, where you can admire Mount Fuji rising behind fields of seasonal flowers. The famous Oshino Hakkai is only a 9-minute drive away.
We also provide discounted bicycle rentals exclusively for guests, making it easy for you to explore Lake Yamanaka. If you are arriving by highway bus from Tokyo or Mishima, please get off at “Fuji-san Yamanakako” station. Feel free to contact us for detailed directions.
