  • Guest：Quaint English Countryside Inn The Devonshire arms in baslow was a very quaint and beautifully decorated in for us to stay. It encapsulated the English countryside vibe that we were going for. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food in both the restaurant and pub area was excellent. We absolutely loved being there, and glad we were there for three nights. We would highly recommend this place to others! One thing for others, particularly Americans, to be aware of is that there is no air conditioning in the guestrooms. They do provide a fan in each room. There is a little bit of age with the building, but nothing that was a complete turn away. It could be seen mainly in the carpet in the hallway and guest rooms. These were not items to turn us away, though. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
