Guest：We stayed at this hotel/apartments for 3 weeks and thought it was a great place to stay with it’s location and it’s facilities. The receptionists were very nice and if we needed any help we just had to ask and they would help. Everything we reported got fixed the same day so couldn’t fault it. At the time of staying the restaurant for Ukino Terrace Algarve and the hotel next to it, which is owned by Ukino (Ukino Palmeiras Village) but is totally separate, was being renovated so Ukino Terrace Algarve were using the Ukino Palmeiras Village restaurant which was fine and just around the corner from where we were staying. The normal restaurant for Ukino Terrace Algarve was very near to the Ukino Palmeiras Village restaurant so wasn’t a big change. We were told of this by Jet2 before we arrived. Food: We were half-board so had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. The times for meals were 7:30am – 10:30am for breakfast and 7pm – 10pm for dinner. There was a good selection of food, hot and cold and drinks which were included during meal times. At breakfast you could have coffee, tea, juices and milk and for the evening meal there were a choice of lager, white wine, rosé wine and two red wines as well as branded soft drinks, Fanta Zero, Sprite, Coca Cola Zero and Coca Cola. For our early flight home we were given a packed cold breakfast to take with us which was really good. We were told in the off peak season Ukino Terrace Algarve only offers half-board at the most but in peak season you can have all-inclusive. The staff were always nice. Apartment: Our apartment was in Block 8 on the ground floor. Even though it was on the ground floor you were still on quite a height as had to go up stairs to get in the main entrance which is not good if you have mobility issues as there is no lift but for us it was fine. We had a sea view from our terrace/window which was great. Some other reviews have said that it was noisy in the apartment but when we stayed here it wasn’t busy and couldn’t hear any noise from other guests in other apartments above us and would only occasionally hear scraping of furniture. The apartment was a really good size and could fit at least 4 people. In the main bedroom there were 2 single beds we put together. In the lounge there was a sofa which could be turned into a bed plus a fold away bed under the sofa. The apartment was cleaned and towels changed every two days with the bedding being changed every four days which was adequate and always done to a good standard. They provided soap and shower gel in the bathroom. The kitchen in the apartment had everything you needed to cook if you were self catering. It had a big fridge/freezer so could buy drinks and fresh food and keep them preserved. The two things I would bring or buy are cloths/scourers and some washing up liquid as this wasn’t provided. Kettle, tea towel, pans, utensils, cups, plates, chopping board etc... were all provided. There are 12 blocks of apartments which contain 1
Guest：Wir waren absolut zufrieden. Hatten ein gro?es Appartement im obersten Stock mit sehr sch?nem Blick aufs Meer. Leider ohne Aufzug, aber das stand in der Beschreibung und wir wurden beim einchecken auch gefragt, ob das für uns in Ordnung geht oder wir lieber weiter unten wohnen würden. Das Appartement selbst war sehr sauber und alles da, was man braucht inkl. grossem Kühlschrank. Erw?hnen m?chte ich auch noch, es gibt nicht nur Klima, sondern auch eine Heizung. Wir hatten Halbpension (Buffet) auch beim Essen gibt es nichts zu meckern. Es war abwechslungsreich, geschmacklich hervorragend und Getr?nke waren inkl. Wein, Bier, alkoholfrei soviel man wollte. Die Speisenplatten wurden immer schnell aufgefüllt, sodass man, egal wann man ins Restaurant kam, volle Auswahl hatte. Besonders m?chte ich die Freundlichkeit des Personals hervorheben. Von der Rezeption über das Housekeeping über die Restaurantmitarbeiter, alle nett und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten z.B. das Problem, dass unser Wohnungsschlüssel nicht aufgesperrt hat. Es war abends nach 21h. Binnen Minuten kam ein Hausmeister zu uns hochgejoggt, bestens gelaunt, hat aufgesperrt und wollte absolut kein Trinkgeld annehmen. Hat uns schwer beeindruckt. Alles in allem kann ich sagen, das Preis/Leistungsverh?ltnis hat mehr als gepasst.
Guest：Fantastic location for a weeks cycling. Rooms are huge and beds comfortable. Loads of choice at breakfast and evening meal. Staff are helpful and friendly. Downside - rooms are noisy. We were ground floor and one night we were disturbed by chatting and furniture moving until 3.00 am. The hotel wasn’t busy so heaven knows what it’s like peak season.
Guest：Ok so we stayed here as a family of 13, had a great time here and this hotel is okay, some of the staff are very welcoming and friendly but some can come across as rude but that’s personal opinion I guess, the woman on reception was not welcoming when we first arrived, the activities during the day are encouraged but not many people like to take part, we played water polo which was fun! The pool is clean and surrounding area is kept very clean, the hotel is clean and rooms are cleaned every other day which is enough for me. The room we had was a 2 bed apartment and it was lovely, had everything we needed, fridge, tv etc. we went all inclusive, the food was not great, I’m not a fussy eater but most of the time I had to settle for foods that I didn’t really like or enjoyed eating, there is not enough option of food at all, and nothing really for kids, as most of the food did not look appetising, we ended up going out for dinner in the surrounding restaurants, which are very nice and good price! The sweet spot restaurant on site was very nice!! And the staff there are lovely, we had breakfast there and the portions of pancakes are huge, we brought 3 for 3 kids and they couldn’t finish them, so for kids I’d buy a meal to share. There is a hill down to the beach and back up to the hotel, which would be difficult to go up and down if you have any mobility problems. The beach is lovely, little cove with a cave you can walk through to the adjoining beach. €20 for 2x sun-beds and shade, which is not a bad price if you’re making the most of it and there all day. The local shop is about 10 minute walk and the shop owner is so lovely and very chatty! The local bigger store is around 25 minute walk depending how fast you walk. We used uber most of the time to travel to the next towns, which cost around €6 for 6 of us one way and took 6mins, there is a train but it’s a-bit pricey at €4.50pp and takes 45 minutes. I would definitely recommend the Zoomarine! It’s amazing, if you book on their website and then use uber to travel it’s cheaper, uber cost around €13 one way and takes only 25 minutes to get there. There is no mini disco in the evening for the kids which I was so upset about as my kids love a disco in the evening, but there was a singer that played he was good but it’s not the best entertainment I’ve seen. You can only have 2x drinks per person, as we had a big group of us we all had to keep going up for drinks, there is no ice creams included within the all inclusive package around the pool, there are ice creams but these can only be eaten during meal times in the restaurant, there are ice lollies available for a price. We had a good time here due to venturing out to the surrounding areas but I wouldn’t return to this particular hotel.
