Guest：the location On the West Bank of the river nile, the atmosphere in peaceful in the middle of the fields, unmatched architecture and interiors, all rooms are different from each other, and the bathrooms are vast and very pretty. You don't need to get out of the hotel, the pool is nice and one of the few places offering a true luxury experience. Food is good, service is good as well, very clean and zero noise/sound pollution, recommended for a relaxing vacation.
Guest：The Al-Moudira is a very unique property in so many ways, sitting a few miles outside the city in a green, peaceful, farming area. It consists of many interconnected low-rise buildings and courtyards, landscaped beautifully, with a very large luxurious pool area. The rooms are in the style of an old Egyptian villa with high ceilings, thick walls, and filled with antiques and period pieces. We were happy to experience the peace and quiet of the property and to feel like we've stepped back in time. Having said that, there are a few things to be aware of -- first, the location, it's not possible to walk to anything. Also, although the breakfast buffet was very delicious, we found the service quite lackluster: our table never had a menu, I only noticed them on some other tables; one morning we ordered tea and it came in a teapot, the next day we were told it was self-service in the buffet; and staff were not terribly attentive during the meal. Kind of a shame because the food was delicious and the outdoor courtyard is lovely, but we just didn't feel as if anyone was looking after us. We're glad we did it once, but if we were to go back to Luxor, we'd stay downtown for more options.
Guest：Simply one of the best properties that I have stayed in for some time. The design and aesthetic are fantastic, the food was delicious and above all, the staff were incredibly kind, warm and welcoming, making the place feel truly like home.
