Guest：Staff were good
Guest：Visited today 4th Feb for lunch as a "walk in". Although reasonably busy we were shown to a table and seated immediately. Two front of house staff, Rebecca and Gail, were extremely efficient, pleasant and on the ball. Ordered two starters, one Soup the other Humus. Both deliceous and plentiful. Mains consisted of King Prawn salad and Haddock in a herb crust. I have to say both dishes were delicious and the Haddock with mussels in a mild curry sauce was a dish that I just wanted to keep eating. All round an excellent visit with ambience, service and food to match.
Guest：Good stay with lovely staff who looked after us very well. Lovely well presented breakfast. Comfortable room but mattress a bit soft and transfer of motion for us and soft pillows - this reduces from 5 to 4 stars for us. Evening snacks great and atmosphere of a mix of locals and visitors great. Would stay again but bring our owns pillows.
Guest：perfect on every level This lovely hotel in Waddington is warm ,friendly and comfortable . Headed by by Michael who is a very talented chef and Rebecca and her team who could not have been more friendly and welcoming to us . First time at The Higher Buck and cannot wait to return . We cannot recommend this hotel more highly .
