Guest：We had a good stay, although the hotel room we stayed in was in need of updating, it was very clean and large. The bathroom definitely needs updating as the door and floor are a bit splintered/ cracked, though it was perfectly clean, new towels are needed as the ones we had were very clean but quite thin from being in use for a long time. The reception area appears in the process of updating, hopefully the carpets in the corridors will also be replaced as they let it down a bit. The restaurant was very nice, the menu was a bit limited but our food was fantastic and it was served quickly and was nice and hot. The best part of the stay was definitely the staff, from checking in to checking out they were outstanding. All were very professional but also friendly and approachable, we’ve stayed in many hotels and have to say the staff here were the best that we’ve met.
Guest：Needs a decent upgrade as rooms are looking a bit shabby. Only stayed for one night but was a comfy bed. Food in the restaurant is ok but quite pricey for what it is. Lovely surroundings and area. Pretty good value for money for bed and breakfast.
Guest：The hotel was tired and is in need of some updating. General areas were not as clean as we would have liked although the rooms were on the whole acceptable. TV didn't work, cob webs around the windows but the bed and bathroom areas were OK The area around the swimming pool had broken and raised tiles and the ladies changing room had no shower facilities We didn't eat at the hotel and we didn't see anyone else eating there either I hope the hotel is due for some modernisation as the setting is lovely and views out over the golf club could be a real asset I can't see us booking to stay again
Guest：Hotel is looking very Tired and run down. Looks like the gym has had a refurb which is great but the rest of the hotel and rooms are in desperate need of renovations. Food was ok but over priced.
