Chimelong Xiangjiang Hotel was originally opened as a restaurant in 1989 under the name Xiangjiang Restaurant. Upon morphing into a Chimelong-brand hotel, the establishment inherited the management philosophy and service quality that Chimelong Group is renowned for.
Today, the hotel not only retains the original, graceful dining environment and exquisite cooking methods of Xiangjiang Restaurant, it has also re-envisioned the facility’s rooms and layout to offer a top-notch hospitality experience.
Chimelong Xiangjiang Hotel has chosen ‘Maritime Silk Road – Lingnan Impressions’ as its main design theme. The lobby, which boasts a number of striking Lingnan design traits, is composed of three chambers and two entrances. The space also has a beautiful chandelier and Manchurian-style window, which visually complement each other.
Your little ones will thoroughly enjoy the Kids Wonderland on the first floor of the lobby, thanks to the fun tables and chairs and interactive LED screens. Also in the Kids Wonderland: interesting and enjoyable parent-child courses and activities can provide your family with a wonderfully entertaining experience. The Kids Wonderland also has carefully prepared children’s snacks and soft drinks, and a fun store: the Xingjiang Happy Galley. Visitors to Xingjiang Happy Galley are able to choose from their favorite candies, snacks and exclusive Chimelong souvenirs.
Additionally, the Children’s Driving School allows kids and their parents to enjoy quality time together in an outdoor environment.
Twenty-one floors in total, Chimelong Xiangjiang Hotel has 333 guest rooms, which feature cute cartoon-y murals of wild animals – such as tigers, giraffes and elephants. In addition to the ‘standard big bed room’ and ‘standard double bedroom,’ a ‘family room’ is available to provide convenience to both parents and children. Patrons who book the ‘family room’ are treated to a spacious accommodation that boasts a separated living room and bedroom with independent child beds.
“The collision between trendy food and traditional food busts into new sparks.” This is the concept behind the restaurant at Chimelong Xiangjiang Hotel. Featuring classic Lingnan-style wooden tables and chairs coupled with authentic Cantonese food, Xiangjiang Chinese Restaurant is comprised of two main areas: the lobby dining room and five specialty rooms, the latter of which can be used individually or connected into one large room that can accommodate up to 160 diners.
Aside from traditional Lingnan flavors, the Hong Kong edibles (Western-grub-meets-Chinese-cuisine) of Xinglong Tea Restaurant offer you fast and diverse food choices. Themed ‘Eight Sights of Yangcheng,’ the restaurant offers catering options, an open kitchen, over 160 indoor dining tables and an outdoor seating area.
Chimelong Xiangjiang Hotel boasts convenient access, with easy connections to 105 national roads and direct access via Metro Line 3 and Line 7. The hotel is also located a short, 15-minute cab ride from Guangzhou South Station and offers free shuttle buses to Chimelong’s various attractions. Moreover, it takes only 8 minutes to reach the wildlife world in Chimelong.
