Guest：Stunning tea plantation bungalow perched on the hillside overlooking the lakes. Food to die for and the most friendly and appreciative staff. Indra, the manager was excellent and Kanth made sure our every need was catered for. A great base from which to explore the Ella region.
Guest：Set in the heart of tea estate country, this place offers the most stunning views and a wonderfully comfortable, homely stay in a beautifully restored plantation bungalow. As the evenings can be a little cooler at this altitude, it was a real treat to enjoy drinks by the log fire, which added to the cosy atmosphere. It feels more like being at a private house party than staying in a hotel, and as it’s quite small, be prepared to socialise a little with other guests — our first dinner was at a communal table, which made for a warm and friendly start to the stay. The waiting and room staff were all superb and couldn’t have been more attentive. All in all, it’s a fantastic place to stay. Be sure to take advantage of the complimentary visit to Lipton’s Seat and the nearby tea factory, which is wonderfully old-school and absolutely fascinating.

Guest：Fabulous accommodation, wonderful food, attentive team and spectacular location. We booked a junior suite, which was smaller than I expected, but very comfortable and well appointed. The trip by tuk tuk to liptons seat was a highlight for me as where the sun rises which are spectacular and viewable from the garden. A hot water bottle and a selection of well-being teas are served in your room following your meal. We ate on the large dining table and met some lovely guests who we could share a story or two with, however if that isn’t your thing you can dine privately. The tea tasting activity before afternoon tea was served was a real treat. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this beautiful hotel.
