Guest：We spent here 5 nights and had an amazing stay! This used to be the Rotchilds family summer villa and was turned into aromantic boutique hotel with 22 rooms. As Titanium Marriott members we were upgraded to a large , simply fabulous room, spacious and with a fire place! Breakfast was delicious with an amazingly pleasant and attentive service. There is a great spa ( offering sauna, heated spring water pool and treatments) at their sister property located within 5 minutes drive ( they offer free shuttle service). The hotel is located less than 25 minutes drive from the airport and in the very nice K?nigstein town that offers numerous restaurants within walking distance. All in all an amazing hotel that is highly recommended!
Guest：Small hotel in beautiful surroundings. Staff are 5 star, polite and helpful. Rooms are very reasonably priced and to a 5 star standard. The restaurant has a small menu but the best choice of wine o have ever seen. The sommelier is a walking Wikipedia, with enormous knowledge of the wines sold. The restaurant’s bread presentation is unique. Breakfast is definitely worth while.
Guest：Compared to Kronenburg and Falkenstein, two other hotels in the region, Rotschild lands in the middle. The room was spacious, with a functioning fireplace, well kept classic furniture and excellent beds. The surrounding park is not as beautiful as at Kronenburg, and there is no Spa like at Flakenstein, but for an overnight stay on your way (to airport) this excellent. Breakfast was also lovely, with a little buffet and rest served on demand. We were there early, but I doubt it will ever be particularly busy.
