  • Guest：Comfortable room, clean and good shower though it was cold first thing in the morning as the heating didn’t start early enough. Great breakfast

  • Guest：This is an old building so naturally it’s a little noisy as people go to their rooms or use their bathrooms but I couldn’t hear the pub downstairs at all. The owners were friendly and served up a fantastic breakfast. Parking is limited so I had to use the pay and display round the back on the second night but there were plenty of spaces there and it wasn’t expensive. This was a great base to visit the local village and hiking in the area which was the reason for my visit - to climb Kinder Scout with a group from nearby Edale.
