  • Guest:well worth the visit we stayed over for the weekend at this fantastic resort the hotel was beautiful and the location excellent the food was amazing high quality there are three hotels on site and you can use them all
  • Guest:This is our favourite retreat in the whole world, and we say that as highly traveled people. We returned at the end of August 2025 for a 3rd time at this hotel and 5th time across the resort. Quiet and serine, we listened only to the ocean every day for eleven days whilst by the pool or on the beach. To find this level of peace is highly unusual in a hotel. So many other try to make themselves trendy by playing music by the pool, yet for those of us who don’t live near the ocean this is why we come….to hear the sounds of nature and escape the business of modern life. The sunsets on the beach are incredible. No mistake though, this hotel does not scrimp on luxury or service. We were lucky enough to have Anne Aspillera assistant front office manager handle our booking directly, and our every need was considered and catered for. Rooms are serviced to an exceptional level by a non intrusive yet highly efficient housekeeping team. The head of housekeeping on our floor checked in with us each day, to make sure we were happy. The staff at this hotel feel like a family to us, overseen by Jean, the Hotel Manager who spent much time talking with our family of five and ensuring everything was just right for us. The wonderful, Said, ensured our time at the pool and beach was everything we had dreamt of. We loved to learn about Omani culture from him and Hussain. They take great pride in their work and we loved the laughs we enjoyed with them on our daily buggy rides to and from the beach. The presence of Omani staff embodies the resort concept. Traditional Omani architecture, hospitality and culture. We found ourselves continually drawn to the reception area, to engage in conversations with the Omani Concierge Team. We truly knew we were in another part of the world, admiring their traditional attire, and knowledge of their country and culture. What a gift to find this. So much for the world does not retain its own identity and so many hotels choose glamour or modernity over culture. They really are missing something. We travel for unusual and different experiences. Special thanks to Jassim, Jamil, Salim, and all those who made our stay so special over coffee in reception. Of course one of the most important parts of any holiday is food, and the resort did not disappoint. Our thanks goes to chef Karan who took the time to come out at breakfast each day to see what the team could do to serve us beautiful meals that evening. He had created a special menu for our family, due to some resort wide restaurants being closed, due to low season. We loved this, being able to eat each night in the adult only space, following the wonderful evening drinks on the terrace. The food was exceptional. We also enjoyed the addition of the Omani menu this year. Thanks to Nim, Kalpesh, Pankaj and Ajay for your wonderful service in the reataurant. There is so much I could say about this wonderful resort. We always enjoy the lazy river, the additional beach at the other ho
  • Guest:This place can’t justify a 5* but neither is it 4…the actual average on TA is about right. Let’s tackle what’s good; - great attentive staff without expectation and searching for tips - great location with beaches, nice pools and a feeling of isolation - superb breakfast to the extent you don’t need lunch! - nice extras built in like afternoon tea and cocktails So why not 5*. Well this hotel is looking a bit tired. The rooms are big and comfortable but lack the modernity of newer hotels (no USB sockets, older style bathrooms). Hilton have just acquired it so hopefully they’ll spend some money on the rooms. The tiles and general decor around the pools need attention (missing grout/cracked tiles/missing paint). The restaurants are varied and offer a good standard of food. Was the à la carte offering 5*, no, not by any stretch but it was a very acceptable standard whether Indian, Moroccan, Italian or other.. The pricing is way off for food and drinks. I’m sorry but you can’t charge £13 a pint of Stella and a fixed Thai meal (no drinks) for £75 each… So overall a very good experience with good reasons to want to come back. However, be sensibile on drinks/food-pricing and spend some money doing it up.
Super consigliato ??
