  • Guest：Not impressed that bedside light did not even have a socket to plug into! Staff were really quite pleasant but bar area soulless and purely functional - not welcoming. Also emails from hotel before arrival really instructive and frankly not friendly and welcoming
  • Guest：Under new management. Improvement is on it way. Room Decorations needed urgently. The entire pool changing area to be renovated. Brilliant staff. Drain toilets to look at emergency
  • Guest：The rate included cooked breakfast. On the morning of the 2nd December no cooked breakfast was provided as the chef had not turned up for work! I was advised that a proportionate refund would be made but none has been forthcoming.
  • Guest：Whole building is very tired. Divan bed bases were collapsed, mattress old and kept being woken by rolling on to a pointy mattress spring. Marks on ceiling which looked like mould. Bathroom clean but very basic. Room very hot but could not turn radiator off/down. Large free-opening window on 1st floor which wouldn’t stay open to cool the room. A significant potential hazard for any children. The one redeeming feature was the gym/pool suite with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna which was quite pleasant, though again needs cosmetic attention.
