Guest：18 family members visited for Sunday Lunch on 01/02/26 to celebrate 2 birthdays, we had a selection of starters, mains & sweets, we could not fault a thing, all food drinks & staff were spot on we could not fault a thing.
Guest：We visited the farmers boy inn and had an evening meal and few drinks and stayed the night in one of there rooms, The food was amazing and big portions! Loads of meat in the pie and definitely recommend great value aswell The room was lovely and both slept really well , really quiet Breakfast was also very nice Cathy served us throughout our stay she was amazing and a credit to the pub, we will be returning!
Guest：We went to the farmers boy inn for my husbands 68th birthday today, from start to finish everything was excellent, service, food, friendly staff, they made the whole experience for our first ever visit here a pleasurable one. The steak and Ale pie was just to die for, the steak just melted in your mouth, chunky chips, delicious and peas and gravy, the beef burgers very tasty too, along with a mixed selection of delicious deserts and drinks followed by the “birthday boy” having a Irish coffee!! We all said it was the best meal we have ever had!!! It may have been our first visit but it won’t be our last!!! Cannot recommend the Farmers Boy Inn enough, you most certainly won’t be disappointed. Thank you to all your staff that made us feel so welcome, and thank you phill for an excellent place that my dad from county cork, would have 100 % loved
Guest：Service was unbelievably slow, to then non existent Food order took over an hour to be taken We stayed the night and informed staff that we would attend breakfast at 08.30 at 09.00am the doors were still locked although they state opening at 08.00 Needless to say we left without having any breakfast I see today that some stays include breakfast maybe this is their ploy !! Really very poor service!!!
