Guest：Séjour du 31 janvier au 7 février 2026 L'h?tel bénéficie d'une situation idéale, directement aux pistes. Départ et arrivéé sur skis est possible. Seul un escalier (une dizaine de marches) et une courte marche depuis le local à skis permettent d'accéder aux pistes. L'h?tel dispose d'un petit garage souterrain pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 10 voitures. La réservation d'avance est conseillée. Les chambre était propre. Le restaurant propose une carte restreinte, mais la cuisine est d'excellente qualité. Tout le personnel de l'h?tel est très accueillant et serviable. Une personne m'a particulièrement touchée. étienne, qui travaille au restaurant, s'est particulièrement distingué par son dévouement exceptionnel à rendre le séjour des ses clients le plus agréable possible.

Cependant la restauration n'est pas à la hauteur, les espaces communs, le bar et la salle à manger ne sont pas propres, et certaines parties de l'hotel montrent vraiment leur age. Au global nous avons passé un séjour agréable grace à l'amabilité de toute l'équipe, sans exception, mais cet h?tel mérite clairement tout juste trois étoiles.
Guest：Even if the hotel may be 4*, sadly my room was not. In this review I hope to give you the information to which I wish I had had access before booking my stay. How much you enjoy your stay will, I think in large part, depend upon how important to you is the standard and comfort of your room. If that is not that important then you can stop reading here. In this review I only intend addressing features I used or experienced myself. There may well be other features and facilities that contribute to the hotel grade that I didn’t use so cannot comment on. In fairness, this may make a very considerable and material difference! One of the most important features of any organisation is the team of people that actually make it tick. I found ALL the staff here unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful. A good example of this was shown very early after arrival when I needed to connect to the Wi-Fi. I entered the hotel password on my phone but was shown a message that said I needed to enter an email address to receive a link to verify my identity. Paradox! Since I deliberately do not have roaming connected outside the UK, I couldn’t get an email without Wi-Fi and couldn’t get Wi-Fi without an email. One of the staff members on reception took command of my phone, connected my phone to her phone and then to the internet. Not something I could have done on my own! Full marks for helpfulness, technical know-how and most of all, initiative! The position of the hotel in Tignes is clear and doesn’t need comment but a ski in and ski out claim is slightly misleading since the area is flat but the main lifts are only a short walk from the hotel. Google Earth will tell you all you need to know. I came to the hotel to ski and the ski and boot storage are perhaps, with the exception of the Four Seasons at Whistler, the best I can presently recall. Each room has an individual, lockable, spacious locker in a lift accessible basement area with seating and easy slope access. Another small positive point is that the boot racks in the lockers also have notices showing how ski boots should be stored. This may not always be obvious to beginners so it is a small but useful, informative touch. I made no use of the restaurants but the main bar has good views, is very comfortable and prices are in line with expectations, €12 for a large beer. I did however take breakfasts at the hotel and they were well up to expectation in terms of quality, quantity, variety, presentation and very comfortable surroundings. Breakfasts were, in fact, one of the highlights of my stay. Sadly, from here on things become far less positive because we now have to get into the rooms. My room was called a Privilege Room supposedly suitable for Up To three people. I was on my own. Knowing Tignes and the position of the hotel well and that all street-side hotel rooms can have problems with (drunken?) Apres-Apres-Skiers I requested a quiet room.
