  • Guest：Decent budget pick as a base for cave tours. Rooms are basic and a bit run down, mostly clean but the shower could have been cleaner and the water heater was making noise all night. There was a bit of a musty smell I think because it was rainy and very wet. People were lovely and so helpful, they arranged drivers wherever we needed to go, the food was good in some instances, enjoyed several cups of delicious ginger tea, breakfast was just ok. My friend had a great massage mine was fine but not the best. But given the price was extremely low, it’s a good pick for a budget traveler!
  • Guest：I spent a short stay at the chay lap but if I could I would stay longer. The staffs are so welcoming and nice, the room was gorgeous, the food very good. And it’s so pleasant to stay in a quiet area surrounded but nature. Highly recommend.
  • Guest：We visited Chay Lap during Tet in 2021 (just before another wave of tight Covid restrictions) so we had almost the entire property to ourselves. The staff were so kind and made sure we still having a good time, despite 48 hours of straight rain. They helped us rent motorbikes for the national park and prepared special Tet meals for us. The location was beautiful and quiet - exactly what we needed as Hanoi residents. Note that the location is not so close to 'town' (on the river) but driving on a motorbike is very calm and easy in this area - a great way to get around and explore.
  • Guest：In the absolutely stunning Phong Nha district, this is one of the best accommodations you'll find. Highly recommended, good accommodation, kind staff, restaurant and bar is great quality. Within 20 minutes of getting here, I asked reception to extend my stay by 2 days because I was so impressed
