Guest：This was our first time at a Taj Safari property. Our travel plans also changed multiple times and the proprty was very accomodating. All arrangements were well communicated and smooth. The arrival, just when dusk was setting in on the wild greenery was magical. The property respects its context and purpose. The structure and surroundings are in their original settings - natural,earthy and peacefully co existing with the forest. Add to it the Taj luxury and hospitality with complete defernce to local culture. The cottages are very well appointed with sustainable Pathyaa supplies. The original structures with artifacts and handicrafts juxtaposed with modern amenities is fabulous. The property feels artisanal . There is limited wifi, just enough to keep you connected but not consume . Time paces itself beautiful. There was no wifi at resturants or spa and definitely not safari and one can decompress and enjoy completely. Safari is not just about sighting , but soaking in the forest landscape, listening and observing how the wild works. Led by our excellent and expert Naturalist Sh Raj Kishore, we had two very unique experiences . Rak Kishore ji helped us understand the cues, the calls and how nature works. Of course we were very lucky to spot and watch the tigers - two of them in all their glory. Sh Brajesh Satnani, property head, was always present and available for us. He and his team took care of every little detail and encouraged us to explore more Sh Pramod , our personal Butler, anticipated our every need and fulfilled it without asking. A cup of tea, ready to soak bathtub, leading us with the torchlight around the property, packed breakfast, blankets in the jeep, food preferences everything was taken care off. This felt like a page out of a Ruskin Bond adventure. Sh Ajit, head chef, fed our souls. all food was delicious but the packed breakfast for the safari, served on the jeep bonnet elevated the experience to the next level. It was the Diwali weekend, and the staff ensured quiet festivities. The earthen oil lamps, simple rangolis, the leaves and marigold strings and soul satisfying food reminded us how we can celebrate so well sans loud music or dance or crackers. Diwali indeed felt like the festival of lights in the deep dark wild. We are grateful for all the staff who stay away from their homes during Diwali to make our celebrations brighter. Thank you very much Taj Mahua Koti A small suggestion would be to have some nature experiences in and around the property. This would make the property more attractive to children and young people who are very enthused about conservation and sutainibility.
Guest：Second stay at Mahua Kothi, after 15 years. Bandhavgarh has become a busy city and so is the beautiful Mahua Kothi lodge. The place is still beautifully maintained and the team really nice and efficient, especially at the restaurant. However, the buzz around the location has made it a bit less charming than Pashan Garh, for example
Guest：We had a wonderful stay. Hospitality and housekeeping services are really very good. Food is very delicious and the chef personally takes care of your choices. The front office manager Kanchan and her team went out of the way to plan a surprise birthday celebration. Keshu who was assigned to take care of us did a great job. Each and every staff was very welcoming and helpful.
