The architecture of “ The Great Chatria World” was designed in resemblance to the structure of the billion-fold Universe (Trichiliocosm) being explained in the Buddhist Abhidharma literature. According to this description, there are an infinite number of worlds. Each world has its center known as Mount Meru surrounded by seven oceans and seven rings of golden mountains separating them. Outside are the four continents and eight subcontinents. We humans live on the southern continent called “Jambudvipa” in Sanskrit. The outer iron mountains then surround this entire world. And other three continents are namely, Purvavideha which means surpassing the body located in the East, that is semi-circular and white in color, Aparagodaniya which means enjoyer of cattle in east and thirdly Uttarakuru, the unpleasant sound located in the north. As such the center of the Great Chatria World is a theatre on a pond while lines of high standard Mongolian tents surround outer four directions. At the four corners there are high standard restaurants, conference and exhibition halls. At the other side is big black, traditional Tibetan Tent that reveals the unique feature of Zogay pasture. On top of that there are shops of all kinds and a spacious parking ground that helps satisfy the need of our customers. A hotel like ours equipped well with all the facilities that a modern customer can possibly expect, makes this a first of its kind in China.
