Located on the banks of Dianchi Lake, the Dianchi Garden Hotel and Spa (Dianchi Wenquan Huayuan Jiudian) is neighbors with the Yunnan Nationalities Villages, and looks out over picturesque West Mountain. With its unique garden setting and low rise, colonial style buildings, this is one of the most unique hotels in Kunming. All rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with all-modern facilities including satellite TVs, mini-bars and Internet access. A business center and a huge conference hall seating up to 400 are available. On-site restaurants serve Chinese and Western cuisines.For recreation, there is a massage and sauna center, golf, a tennis court, a spa and a swimming pool.

  • Guest：Excellent hotel, close to tourist attractions, beautiful interior
  • Guest：Nice resort look. Room had a breezy balcony, no AC was needed in early September, day or night. Short walk to the Dianchi lake. Bus station is across the road with access to many busses. Take bus 44, 2 stations to Subway Yuhucun station and line 5 (about 1 mile from the hotel), Rent a bike (70 Yuan/day), Beautiful ride doing the north loop of the lake, about 20 Km 2 hours, most of the path is wide, dedicated bike trail, only the last 2/3 Km is a bit tricky (going CCW) Just outside the hotel people are selling tickets to the Xishan, West Hill top (bus and cable car ride for 90 Yuan/person, about a half-day trip) Ms Moon with ctrip at the front desk was very helpful.
  • Guest：the servers there are very helpful, they tend to give their hands when needed. They always show their smiling face, we enjoy that very much.
  • Guest：absolutely amazing hotel. The location is perfect. You can see the yunnan nationalities village, take a cableway ride or take a boat ride and see the seagulls all within walking distance. The hotel has great facilities as well to just spend a day relaxing at the hotel with tennis courts, spa and swimming pool.
