I am now staying in another hotel in Shanghai and I miss the following list of things that I took for granted when I was in the Guangdong Hotel: English speaking staff, English TV channel, fruit platter, coffee sachets, large clean room, large bathroom, the meticulously cleaned room, the ambiance of the foyer area and above all the helpful ladies at the concierge desk! I am from Australia and this is my first trip to China. The Guangdong Hotel staff was a great introduction for me to China. They helped me download a navigation app and they taught me how to use the Chinese metro system. Thank you to the concierge ladies especially Kitty!
