In 2015, two young women, due to different reasons, quit their jobs and came to Gyirong, a quiet small town at the border between China and Nepal. One was a voluntary teacher in Gyirong, adored by the paradise, thus moved here from Beijing. The other, used to be a local civil servant, was moving from one city to another, finally followed her heart and returned to the town. They experienced the excitement of the border’s reopening as well as crucial Nepal earthquakes. Now, they are still here, in Gyirong HH Hostel, waiting for you.
