Tangxin Inn
Tangxin is a boutique inn located in the heart of Lhasa with photography and cameras as its prominent feature. Not only a cosy and relaxing home, Tangxin is also a camera museum in its own right with some of the master-level vintage cameras and thousands of books in its collection to which the guests can have direct access. A spacious terrace is available on both the 2nd and 3rd floors where you can look out to the blue sky, snow-capped mountains and the Potala Palace. A 30-year-old pine tree stands in the Inn under whose shade you can easily spend the day marveling at the views. This is also the inspiration for the name of the Inn: Tangxin means pine tree in Tibetan.
