NIPPONIA HOTEL Takehara Seionmachi is a decentralized hotel composed of four buildings: the former Morikawa family residence, which serves as the front desk and club lounge; the HOTEI building for dining; and the MOSO and KIKKO buildings for accommodation. Located in Takehara, a town with a designated preservation district, it offers a special stay that makes you feel as though you are living in the heart of the town.
The hotel features a total of 10 rooms, including a private room in a renovated storehouse. The interiors of all the buildings were designed by Sasao of Wasabi, who carefully preserved the beauty and history of the structures. The design incorporates local bamboo and elements that evoke the region’s culture, such as white tones representing salt and sake brewing, and blue hues that reflect the rich Seto Inland Sea, creating an atmosphere that connects you with the spirit of Takehara.
