Guest：My husband and I stayed here for 1 night and wish it could have been more. We booked very last minute after our original plans didn’t work out. From the initial phone call to check availability, to when we checked out we couldn’t fault anything. Just from the drive up to East lodge we knew we were going to enjoy our stay with immaculately kept gardens and breathtaking views. There was a lady who greeted us as we walked in, a gentleman on the reception desk we also saw another lady on reception the day we checked out. All 3 members of staff we saw were polite, professional and friendly. The room was warm and welcoming and a really good size with amazing views across the countryside. Great sized bathroom and all the amenities you need. We booked in for breakfast (￡15 per head) and it didn’t disappoint. We both had eggs Benedict which was freshly cooked and very tasty. Thank you to the staff and owners at east lodge for saving our weekend from being a disaster. We can’t wait to come back.
