  • Guest:We came here in June 2025 for our honeymoon. The staff were lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. The views were amazing and the food good. We were deluxe but felt like it may not have been necessary to upgrade, although we did enjoy the deluxe pool as it was much quieter than the main pool but I believe everything else was the same as you would receive non deluxe. Housekeeping were generally good although there were a couple of times where drinks/food had been left outside the room next door to us all night/day which attracted a lot of ants. The turndown service is also at around 5:30pm everyday - whilst we were relaxing in our room before heading out. They could potentially rethink the timing to a bit later on. The big issue with this hotel is that there is no evening entertainment. We booked our dinner later to avoid families with small children but by the time we had finished eating (around 9:30pm) the music seemed to have stopped. There was often music on the lobby until around 10/10:30pm but no available seats by the time we arrived and lots of children running around. We ended up back in our room by 10:30pm most nights. There is also nothing outside the hotel. Overall we enjoyed our break but unlikely to return due to the above.
  • Guest:We have just returned back from a weeks stay at the Oceania, all in all we did have a great time! Just a few things we thought could have been improved on. The food was incredible! By far the best all inclusive food we have ever had, I don't think we had a bad meal, the service too was brilliant, drinks always topped up, the staff around the pool couldn't be more helpful. Loved the beach, very peaceful. But the food stood out for us the most, exceptional. I don't know if it was because it was the last week of the season (i would be interested to see if it were the same in july/august) but the entertainment was pretty much none existent, I have been to 4* hotels where they've put on the most incredible shows etc even in October, other than a pianist (and a DJ after 9pm outside the lobby area) there wasn't much else. There was a mini disco at 6:15 in the theatre, which the room itself was extremely tired, ripped chairs, didn't really match the IKOS branding, defiantly needs some TLC. We were quite lucky with the weather but i can imagine if you weren't there really wouldn't be much to do. The wasp situation was really frustrating. We absolutely loved the Ouzo restaurant, but it was almost impossible to sit and relax with two to four wasps constantly swarming around us. We even tried having breakfast inside one day, but unfortunately the issue was just the same. I completely understand that wasps are not something you can fully control, but we also discovered a nest in the corner of our balcony. Between the wasps and the flies, it became very difficult to relax, so we ended up not using the balcony or returning to the Ouzo restaurant for lunch, which was a real shame as we genuinely loved the food. We were given a panoramic sea view room, which was nice but nothing particularly special. As this was our first visit to an IKOS resort, I think I was expecting more of a “wow” factor with the room, but unfortunately it didn’t quite deliver that. The room had two single beds pushed together, and the mattress was extremely firm, we both came home with bad backs and were very much looking forward to sleeping in our own bed again. For the price paid, I was at least expecting a proper double or king-size bed that was genuinely comfortable. Our son didn’t want to use the kids’ club, so I can’t really comment on that. However, there was a large room opposite the kids’ club that I wasn’t quite sure about, it had an old-looking stage and some metal chairs lined up, with a few tired-looking toys and blocks scattered around. He played there for about ten minutes, but it didn’t hold his interest for long. I feel that space could have been used a little better, perhaps with some updated toys or a more inviting setup. To be honest, after reading the reviews before our trip, I was so excited and couldn’t wait to go. However, I just don’t feel that it fully lived up to my expectations. I’m not sure if visiting at the end of the season may have played a part in t
  • Guest:Just wanted to share a quick review for anyone considering a stay at Oceania. We've stayed at Aria and Dassia a couple of times each, and Odisia once. We're also regulars at Sani Club and Sani Dunes. Normally, we travel as a family of five, but this April, I spent five nights at Oceania with two of my children (14 and 6). First impressions: Oceania is an older resort in need of some renovations. Compared to the stunning and pristine resorts like Odisia, it feels a bit outdated. It doesn't quite have the wow factor of the other resorts. However, if it's your first Ikos or Sani experience, you'll likely find it impressive; it definitely stands out among other European resorts I've stayed in. The surroundings are somewhat built up and not as tidy as other Ikos locations. The views are lovely and the fact it's near a town is great though. One downside was the pools—they were cold. They did warm up a bit, but with only five days to enjoy them, having two or three days where we couldn't swim was disappointing. Even the indoor pool was freezing at first. On a positive note, the service, food, and kids club were outstanding—truly the best we've experienced. My six-year-old son didn’t want to leave! I can see why so many people return every year. Unlike at many other resorts, where service can sometimes be slow or things get overlooked, the staff here were fantastic. Also, it's small enough for kids to make friends easily, and they could see each other around the pool and at dinner, which is nice. As for pricing, we paid £2,700 for five nights, including flights for two adults and one child. Since I usually pay peak prices for five of us, this was a great value. Once you add in activities, we’ve spent just as much at places like Center Parcs! I would consider returning if the price is right. Just a note for anyone who has been to other resorts: keep in mind that there’s a reason this one is cheaper, so adjust your expectations accordingly. If you haven’t been to Ikos before, Oceania is a great choice. I hope this reviews helps people. Obviously it's just my opinion and everyone's experience will be different.
  • Guest:This is a great brand, greated at the airport and escorted to our private transfer. On arrival we were taken to an adult’s only bar to check in … A golf buggy arrived to take us to our room , all swiftly, no hanging around.
