Guest：The room was small, but clean. The walls were thin and there was a crying baby next door, which was a bit of a pain. Bathroom needs an upgrade, and person on reception wasn't super helpful. But location was great, easy walk to town. A pretty stream flows out from under lodge which is cool. Normally has a spa pool, unfortunately not working when we were there. Bed was comfy and lounge looked good.
Guest：Location is a plus point, walkable to main part of town. Room is clean and bathroom is acceptable to us. Bed does not have a heater blanket and room heater is old. Wifi is not so good but it seems to be common in NZ. Need to ask very specific questions on what you are looking before reception can advise. Check in can only be done at 2pm.
Guest：Very small room, listed as a king studio, king size comfortable bed, heater not working properly had to get staff to solve the issue, noisy as we could hear people moving around upstairs. Only a kettle provided & small bar fridge. Good water pressure for the shower, but the room was so small & really dated.
Guest：This hotel is currently up for sale however it met all our needs except it would have been better with a toaster at least. It did offer guest washing machine and dryer. The room was very clean however some furniture was a bit used and dated. the room was not very soundproof and we did have loud water sound from toilet cistern refill and shower door closures. We had an upstairs balcony room with mountain and lake views. Beautiful.
