  • Guest：We LOVED The Townsend. Super warm and cozy room. We booked the suite and had such a lovely time. The property is beautiful.
  • Guest：Beautiful hotel in Birmingham, an upscale area With restaurants and shops. I would call the Townsend a 4.5 hotel, not quite a Ritz, but way above a nice Marriott. The bed was the most comfortable bed ever, the staff responsive, the room well designed and the bathroom lovely. The shower was not strong.
  • Guest：No where was I informed before making this reservation that their signature restaurant The Rugby Grille was closed for a remodel. Then their amazing High Tea is now NOT offered. The bar is now temporarily located in what used to be a beautiful lobby… Why did I pay all that money???!!!
