  • Guest:Excellent welcoming, helpful staff. Room very good, very nice building. Taxis can stop 2 mins walk away so more accessible than many riads.
  • Guest:A beautiful Riad, on the outer edge of the Medina, 20mins or so to the main square. Beautiful room, well maintained and an incredibly friendly and kind staff. I would highly recommend you stay here when in Marrakech!
  • Guest:What a find! The staff were all amazing, reception staff, Abdelkarim, Nourddine, Abdeljalil, Youssef couldn't do enough to make you feel at home. Whilst Khadija, Zoubida and Fatima made amazing different local breakfast every morning. Super location and very traditional. Would recommend for sure. Thanks for a great stay.
  • Guest:Really lovely place to stay for a few days, with clean big rooms, nice showers, plenty of friendly advice from the team that run the Riad, and loads of places to chill out also. I stayed there on my own and found them very accomodating. My room had two massive beds, a very nice shower, a safe, table, chairs, and everything felt pretty safe, with locks and padlocks too. When I arrived, its owner sat me down, gave me a drink and a map and showed me some key sights he thought were interesting. He did this with every guest which was lovely, and a nice personal touch. I like the fact there was no TV, as I very much went away to have a bit of a break, while the WIFI reached the room, no problem, so I could plan my day. The Riad has a small pool in the courtyard which is too small to actually swim in, but the sound of water is really nice to have when you're sleeping, eating, relaxing etc. I really enjoyed its roof garden also, with plenty of space to sit down in the sun or in the shade, including an area under cover The food was really good. I had breakfast there every day, with local produce used, and finished most of it. After a few days I had some illness due to gluten so I had to say no to any wheat, and they just made me omelettes, and gave me fruits, yoghurts and other things, which made sure I had enough. The staff are super friendly and always say hello and make polite conversation, but at no point did I feel like they were being intrusive or anything. They even give you mint tea and biscuits without asking if you're reading or something. The Riad itself is in a really central bit of the old city. It's down a narrow street past a large carpet shop. It's a 15/20 minute walk to the main square, and there's of course lots to see on the way. You're also near plenty of the sights and museums, which is really good. I also used a lot of the local shops to buy food and drinks, and they were all pretty friendly and convenient. Only downside of the place is there were one or two days I had no hot water, and I couldn't get the air con to work (though my room was nice and cool regardless). It was not particularly cheap, and I was kind of expecting a few more amenities, maybe some more entertainment at the Riad itself to keep me occupied after I'd been out all day. But in general, it's a lovely place to stay.
