Guest：Well located property but did feel that the price/value ratio was off. I did have a situation where i was handed two lanyards with a key to the room and one for the room safe. Somehow the key to the safe fell off the lanyard in a quick walk to a restaurant next door. Ended up having to pay $100 to replace that key that fell off the lanyard they gave me. Property should make the switch to code based safes and different key systems. So it did not feel great to pay $100 after overpaying for the room. The ocean had a lot of algae and that contributed to the feel of not receiving proper value.
Guest：This is an amazing place. The hotel is inside Del Jaguar Parque Tulum. You need to go through the park gate when you come to the hotel. It’s 120 pesos every time you leave and come back during park hours. After park hours, you can keep your wristband. There are some great restaurants down the beach and the restaurant at the beach club is good. Breakfast is very good and the service is excellent. We loved the beach club and the beach itself is beautiful with nice clean fine white sand. There is a lot of seaweed at times in the water. The room was small but the cleaning was excellent with different ‘towel animals’ every day. There are free shuttles in the park to get to the ruins and museum. I would definitely recommend it.
