Guest：Just back from a lovely 1 night away. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. The hotel has a very warm and comforting feel about it. Our room was lovely and warm, super clean. It was great to have our breakfast taken to the table rather than buffet style. It was tasty and hot, served on hot plates. Would definitely recommend
Guest：It’s good location in Elgin. Nice hotel with rustic looking interior. The staff were friendly. We booked it because we wanted somewhere nicer than the travelodge. It said also that the room has a smart TV so that was a plus as we wanted a home away from home since we were visiting family during the day and wanting to chill at night. The room we were given didn’t have a smart tv so we called reception just to ask how we get Netflix on it and they said that the tv in our room was recently replaced and immediately offered us a new room. It was same size bed but the room was a lot bigger, had a sofa in it and a smart tv. That was kind of them. It’s not a massive deal but it was a selling point for us choosing the room which they didn’t know at the time, so it was nice they resolved the issue without any fuss. First day the breakfast was a bit bare, my toast actually had mould on it and we couldn’t cook it ourselves. Second day there was a bigger selection and the option to cook your own toast. So I feel like there must’ve been a fresh delivery the second day with all the new fresh stock there was available. It was a pleasant stay and not too expensive in comparison to a chain so it was worth it for the amenities and ideal location.

Guest：Hotel was lovely. Spotlessly clean. Nice big comfy bed. I ate in the restaurant 2 nights of my stay and the food was delicious. Can highly recommend the mushroom starter with tarragon sauce. Check in & out was friendly and all the staff were very good. My reason to drop a star is that my room was at the top of an annex of the hotel. There were many stairs and unfortunately there was no one who could help me with my bag.
