  • Guest:Lovely one night stay adorable converted stables, room warm and cosy, had everything we needed. Set in lovely grounds with horses, alpacas, deer and bunnies. Will definitely come back for a longer stay
  • Guest:Stayed here on 18th June in chalet 4 which was perfect for our overnight stop off. The property is a working farm out in the country down a tree lined driveway set in lovely surroundings with a pleasant garden to sit in just outside the chalets, there is also seating available outside each chalet where we sat out and had a drink in the evening. Heather the owner came by when we were outside and had a little chat which was nice and explained that our chalet used to house a pony before being converted. The bed was very comfortable with good quality linen and covers and we had a good nights sleep, due to being out in the country there is no road noise which makes the whole place very peaceful. Tea and coffee facilities were good with a couple of pastries on arrival and the towels supplied were also good quality and nice and clean. We would have liked to have gone and seen the deer in the paddock at the back but the path was a little overgrown and muddy and we hadn’t got any suitable footwear. Overall we had a lovely stay and would most definitely book again if we were passing through as it is a very nice change from the chain hotels and so very peaceful surrounded by fields with horses and alpacas and rabbits bouncing around everywhere freely. Knowle is close by with plenty of pubs, shops etc where you can get everything you need, I can recommend the fish and chip shop. Also lots of information provided in a folder within the chalet should you want to venture out.
  • Guest:Thank you for a lovely stay. It really was so peaceful, surrounded by nature and away from all the hustle and bustle. WiFi was great too. I stayed in Chalet 4, which is the smallest chalet I believe. It was clean and had everything I needed as I was staying away for a business meeting. Shower had great pressure. The welcome book was well thought out, not being from the area, if I had more time I would have visited some of the recommendations. Thanks again, I will revisit and recommend.
  • Guest:Charming little cabins away from the hustle and bustle. The cabins are converted horse accommodation, aka stables, spotless and welcoming. Good WiFi, no code needed and good tv reception. There are different sized cabins, with different facilities. Mine had a small kitchen area with microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge freezer and crockery and cutlery. Oh, and under the sink an electric hotplate you could plug in to heat or fry something in the supplied frying pan and saucepans. A real bonus. You could pick something up from a supermarket en route, or use the suggested takeaway delivery services. The shower room had a very large shower with a good grab rail, and a heated towel rail. Heather was very helpful both on the phone and during my stay, it’s always best to book direct. The grounds are beautiful and the horses ponies and alpacas were so cute, there was a dear little baby alpaca. The bunny rabbits were very quiet, so I got a good night’s sleep each day of my stay. Loads more positives. A very comfortable mattress, good pillows and beautiful bedlinen . Plentiful supply of good-sized towels. Even extras like an ironing board and iron. Lots of lovely touches with ornaments, and two large mirrors in the room. The table and chairs on the little terrace for each room were lovely for eating (also table and chairs in the cabin) or just sitting and reading, breathing in the fresh country air and watching the rabbits. A good place to stay, where they have thought of so many things to make you feel at home. Many thanks to Heather for all her work and kindness.
