The Loudor

The Loudor is a 4-star family-run guest house in North Hykeham, 3 miles from Lincoln city center. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi, homemade biscuits and free parking.

The rooms at The Loudor are decorated in light shades and feature work desks, TVs and tea/coffee-making facilities. They include bathrooms with a shower and hairdryers and ironing equipment are available on request.

The open-plan dining room serves cooked English and continental breakfasts each morning. There is a comfortable lounge with sofas for guests to relax in. There is also a large garden with a seating area.

Directly opposite the property is The Forum shopping center. Lincoln has many fantastic sights for guests to enjoy including the Quayside, Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle which holds one the four original copies of the Magna Carta.

  • Guest：This was our first visit to the loudor for breakfast, we had a warm greeting and service was excellent. Breakfast was very nice , good quality local ingredients used . We shall visit again for either breakfast or afternoon tea , yummy yummy yummy
  • Guest：We stayed 2 nights here. Easy to get to with parking. Our twin room was bright comfortable and most importantly sparkling clean. Only there 2 night but they came in and changed the towels for us Breakfast was tasty and we loved the robotic waiter, never seen one of them before. Lots of paper ornaments dotted away to reflect the owners heritage. If there is a criticism it would be the steep stairs with no lift. Other than that it's lovely.
  • Guest：Our stay was an unexpected emergency due to a family member in hospital. The owner was very welcoming. Spotless room , extremely comfortable beds (room 4) pretty bedding. Lovely hot shower. We both slept well although not for long . Breakfast was second to none. Perfectly cooked bacon , eggs and good quality food used. All washed down with a big pot of tea. Thank you for a lovely stay making a very difficult time easier.
  • Guest：A cold January afternoon brightened up by the hospitality of the Loudor. A birthday tea for 8 was a joyous occasion. The team at the Loudor were ' simply the best'. Sandwiches freshly made to order, scones WITH jam and cream and delicious cakes, all for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.
