Guest：Fabulous all round; rooms brilliant, food excellent and wonderful friendly staff who go out of their way to make sure everything is as good as it can be. The rooms all have binoculars so you can enjoy the views and wildlife or the planes from Bristol airport. Very comfortable beds and so peaceful. Good powerful showers, and tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Breakfast is good and 'flexible' allowing for a good start to the day and a great choice of evening meals including a variety of Oggies! Try one, you won't be disappointed! A good choice of beer and wine too catering for all tastes. All the staff we met were very helpful and friendly. Dave and Sally must get a special mention. Already thinking of our next visit
Guest：Fabulous alternative to boring city hotel I have stayed at the Hunters Rest for 2 nights a fortnight for over a year. The staff are really friendly. My room (contemporary four-poster) was lovely - way cheaper than an average room in a city centre hotel. The food is delicious pub food. It’s in a beautiful location away from the crowds but with a local clientele. Really can’t say anything negative.
Guest：Disappointing. We have been used to enjoying delicious Sunday lunches at the Hunters Rest, very reasonable at that. But recently we feel let down by very tough beef, and vegetables looking very tired. My aged broccoli was flattened as though a plate had been put on top of it, and it obviously wasn’t fresh. We are used to quality fresh food. This was not. Having said that, the staff were as charming as ever.
