Guest：Nous avons retrouvé le Vieux Logis 30 ans après nous y être fiancés. Le lieu est toujours hors du temps. Un havre de paix, chargé d’histoire, au milieu d’une nature paisible. N’hésitez pas à en profiter également en hiver, le menu truffes est inoubliable.

Guest：I booked this hotel as it was that very rare beast, a hotel with a michelin star restaurant that is not only open in winter / early March and open on a monday night!! Easy to find, very welcomimg and able front desk. Situated in a lovely little Dordogne village practically on the river. Booked a Junior Suite and was delighted with the room assigned - Room 1 in the old house. More like a small 1 bed suite so may have been an uprade, not matter - a very well appointed suite and most enjoyable. Very quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast in the main restaurant included. No need to pay for additional extras as the buffet was ample. All in all a very good stay with excellent staff
Guest：We stayed at Le Vieux Logis for 2 nights as part of a Backroads cycling trip. It was an excellent base for exploring the Dordogne region and is located in the tiny but charming, sleepy village of Trémolat. We had a large ground floor suite that looked out over the beautiful grounds. It was spacious and beautifully furnished with tasteful decorative touches. We particularly loved the separate sunroom where we could sit at the end of the day with a glass of wine and look out over the gardens. Our one issue was that the bathroom shower did not contain the water properly and did not drain well so that the bathroom floor became very wet. Breakfast was included and was served in the main restaurant. The breakfast was a very generous buffet with a huge range of choices and it set up up for the day ahead. The highlight was the Michelin 1 star restaurant. The food was beautiful particularly the stuffed leg of lamb with artichoke tapenade and rocket pesto.
