Guest：Great location and chill hotel Great location and chill hotel. Breakfast is included and is good. There were few people staying here, which meant we got the pool practically to ourselves and the beach cabanas and chairs were great too. The restaurant is ideal for dinner and there are other options up and down the beach as well. I would definitely stay here again. Golfers would especially like this place because it is right along the green around hiles 7 and 8, I believe.
Guest：If you’re going to stay here, request the newly renovated Villas (1 story building with 3 rooms). The other 2 story buildings are very outdated, the balcony faces onto a golf course and swap area. The bathroom is very old and upon check-in my bathroom wasn’t fully cleaned, with hairs on the floor and in the dated bathtub. Dining options are limited to 1 restaurant on site, that is quite pricey. The servers don’t speak much English, and such my order came out wrong 2 separate occasions. There are a couple other dinings options if you walk along the beach to another area. Uber is not allowed onto the property and Taxis take long to get there. Taxi charges 2-3x what Uber charge. I wouldn’t stay here again.
Guest：Hotel is really quiet and villa area is beautiful. In a old hotel and need renovations. Now, the food there is just spectacular.order the CHILLO SAN FELIPE AND THE MAHI MAHI CEVICHE. Food has 5 stars!
Guest：We give Blue Jack Tar a very good rating. It will be excellent in a year (March 2026) when the construction, which we did hear from our room, is finished. Mostly it's paradise, the beach, the pool, the surrounding area. One man got off a tour bus that was visiting Blue Jack Tar and said:" I think I died and went to heaven." The staff, Melanie, Daisy, Carlos, is excellent. The breakfast kitchen is fast; the restaurant kitchen of Green Jack Tar is slow, often waited an hour for our food. In terms of rooms, the golf course side is best to ask for, specifically the golf course side of Villas #1,3,5 and townhouses 66,67,68. Thanks for a great vacation.
