  • Guest：The Claremont just gets better and better... thanks to Coralie and the team for looking after me so well yet again. Breakfast has aleays been fantastic but now the service and rooms are improving all of the time. Great location as well. A real diamond of a place.
  • Guest：Excellent room and breakfast. Always a great little place to stay. This time the booking was for an overseas guest who thoroughly enjoyed himself. Though the booking was last minute it was a large double room with great en suite facilities.
  • Guest：My husband & I stayed here for one night last Thursday visiting family in Hove. The room & bathroom was spacious. Earplugs were supplied by management which I thought was strange. However, within 10 minutes of going to bed you needed the plugs to block out the noise from other guests & traffic noise. We had a disturbed nights sleep due to internal & external noise & I don't think the Guest House should be charging over ￡200 for one nights accommodation. We were looking forward to 'an award winning breakfast' which was a massive disappointment. We waited 40 minutes for the 'full English' breakfast which arrived cold. We asked for 2 portions of toast which arrived in a toast rack with 3 quarters of toast for 2 people. We asked for more toast which arrived with 2 quarters of toast after we had finished our breakfast. It was so bad we were laughing. The staff did apologise several times for the delay to our breakfast but to serve it cold was appalling. Two other guests arrived for breakfast at 8.30 but as there was no table available for them they were sent back to their rooms & told to come back in 10 minutes. The service at breakfast was like Faulty Towers!
  • Guest：My partner and I stayed here last weekend for two nights after cycling down from Surrey. Upgraded to a lovely room with 4 poster bed. All very clean with all amenities we needed. Breakfast was delicious, efficient service and relaxed atmosphere and we spent a lovely hour reading the papers in the garden. All staff we met were friendly and polite. We will be back !
