Guest：Pros: the view is spectacular and the staff are extremely courteous. Unlimited complimentary coffee and tea (during the duration of the stay) + pastries (just one-time upon check-in) Cons: the place doesn’t have a signage but I was told that this is deliberate as they don’t entertain walk-ins. We stayed at mid-pines 1 and unfortunately the room was dirty. It wasn’t maintained well. blinds were dirty and don’t work well, the toilet was dirty, furnishings were too old (but if they were properly maintained I’m sure it would’ve been ok). Crawling insects somehow entered the room. There was a dead rat at the garden area. I uploaded photos for everyone’s reference. Room service was inefficient as you either have to go out and place your order or send an SMS or viber (the room doesn’t have a landline). This proved to be inefficient as receiving orders took less longer (30 mins. for coffee and 1 hr for food).
Guest：This is our second time here, and our experience at The Carmelence View is again very pleasant. The staff are the friendliest and most accommodating and helpful. Our rooms have very good views of Taal. Rooms are also clean and comfortable -- beds are big, bathrooms are spacious (especially in the Family Cabana), and have all essential amenities. Location is prime -- it is along the Nasugbu-Maharlika Highway, near most tourist spots and restaurants in Tagaytay. Place is pet-friendly, too. Staff are kind to guests and pets. Place is also quiet and peaceful. For food, there is complementary plated breakfast, with choice of tea (tarragon is good) and juice (calamansi is good). They also have a restaurant, and you can order room service so you can have dinner in your room/balcony overlooking Taal. This place is simpler than other "more corporate" establishments. But this is also The Carmelence View's charm. This has become our family's favorite place to stay for an overnight trip in Tagaytay. We look forward to visiting again next time.
Guest：This hotel has its breathtaking view of Taal Volcano, which is visible from many of the hotel’s rooms and public areas. It’s perfect for guests looking to relax and enjoy nature. The service at Carmelence View Hotel is often praised as being friendly and attentive. The staff is noted for being accommodating and helpful, making sure guests have a pleasant stay.
Guest：Our overnight stay (May 2 - 3, 2025) remains happily memorable because of the following: (1) Convenient location along the ridge with Ample and safe parking spaces, (2) Quiet, clean, and Classy glass enclosed rooms that still guaranteed privacy from other rooms, (3) high quality room furniture and fixtures, (4) Delicious and extensive menu, and (5) the best breakfast buffet in Tagaytay!! The owner will also make available mahjong and karaoke facilities if the guests pre-request such. We highly recommend this boutique hotel if you want value for money and fantastic views of Taal Lake and Volcano when you wake up in the morning. WE WILL BE BACK!!
