Guest：The hotel is located on the outskirts of the attractive town of Piana. The driveway to the hotel springs on you rather suddenly, so look out for the red signs on the left if you are travelling from Porto. There are two parts of the hotel: the main building with reception, swimming pool and dining room and the dormitory-lookalike further up the path. Our room was on the second floor of the “dormitory”. As there was no lift, we had to negotiate a steep external staircase although the hotel receptionist was on hand to help with the luggage on arrival. Our Superior Room was in character with the rest of the building. Reinforced doors only emphasised the point. The room was of standard size, with minimalist décor and huge mirrored wardrobe dominating the space. The bed was comfortable enough. There wasn’t much storage space. We had a balcony overlooking the sea and Calanques de Piana. The bathroom was plain, on the small size, with a walk-in shower. Bathrobes and slippers were provided. There was a safety box too. Tea and coffee-making facilities were available. WiFi signal was acceptable. We dined at La Table de Neptune and the food was rather delicious, with more of the great views over Mediterranean. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. In summary the hotel was distinctly unimpressive but it saving graces were the stupendous views it offered over the sea and Calanques, and some accomplished cooking in the restaurant.

Guest：We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Capo Rosso. The view is stunning, and the staff is so helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very good, and the breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful. Our room was spacious and well equipped. Persons with mobility issues might prefer the main building as the annex is uphill. And, again, the view! Special thanks to Francis for arranging flowers for a special occasion and to Angelou for his thoughtful dinner recommendations for us in Paris.
Guest：This hotel is located on an exceptionally beautiful part of the Corsican coastline. The views are amazing. The hotel itself is lovely but has the feeling of being a bit disjointed as there are two parts to it - the annexe set back up a hill- this is the part we were in. The furnishings feel a bit dated and tired- curtains didn’t fit, no walk in shower. Space felt a bit tight really. It has a nice pool but no bar to it, and the service was slow to get any. I can imagine it being really popular in its hey day. Good in restaurant wax ok but nothing exceptional. Would I return? Probably not - I would just stop to take pics from the viewpoint.
