The hotel is located in a house built in 1880. The huge building belonged to the commerce advisor, honorary citizen, merchant Ivan Vasilyevich Galunov. It was in honor of the first owner of the house that the hotel was named.
To this day, the building has almost completely preserved its appearance. And to the surviving elements of the interior space, we added antique decorative items in the form of "Underwood" typewriters, "Singer" sewing machines, a restored antique telephone, a wooden clock with weights, an ancient travel chest.
During the construction of the hotel, tremendous work was done to preserve historical elements, including brickwork, original ashlar railings, wooden floors, marble window sills and original doors. We have preserved the old cast-iron balusters on the staircase and on the balcony. There are 19th-century stoves in the corridors of the hotel, and a modern tiled fireplace fits well in the breakfast area.
In some of the rooms, it was possible to preserve the historical walls, which laconically fit into the modern design. The equipment of each room continues I.V. Galunov's concept of "only the best". High sound insulation, musical accompaniment in the room, underfloor heating, individual climate control in each room, premium cosmetics - all this has already been appreciated by more than 15,000 guests.

In the evening, coming from a walk or a work meeting, guests spend time in the tea room with a cup of tea or coffee with pastries from the chefs.
Ice cream made from natural cream and homemade jam are also available for guests around the clock. In winter, guests warm themselves by the fireplace, and in the warmer months they admire the night views of historical buildings from the balcony.
