Geejam is a small piece of paradise for sure. Nestled along mountainside in a rain forest-like environment, it is impossible to be stressed here. Staff were amazing (kudos to Tishawney, Brian, Norton and Jada who ensured we were well taken care of) and the view of the ocean was impeccable. Geejam has lots of stairs so be prepared to get your heart rate up. It’s all worth it though. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are spacious and modern with good water pressure and temperature, and the food is delicious. Your room will either have a balcony or a jacuzzi depending on room type. I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again if in Portland.
Food was unavailable when on menu, subs as well. Food quality was good but lacking flavor. Spa service not available when booked. Couldn’t see the studio and no follow up from staff about seeing or using it. Beautiful and quite definitely relaxing. Close to many thing to do.

The room was an experience in itself, the art and the decor were stunning. Very accommodating team, resturant had great food.
Only downfall was it's hard to leave the hotel, the excursions are way over priced and you can't walk out to arrange your own transport.
Geejam has been on my list of Jamaican destinations since before Covid. This year my gorgeous girlfriend and I got to stay there. It did not disappoint. Ben Eine
Le Geejam est un lieu incroyable. Les chambres sont magnifiques, chacune dans leur genre : soit cabane perdue dans la jungle, soit dans un style loft à la deco pointue. La plage privée est très agréable, la piscine offre une vue magnifique. L’h?tel se trouve à proximité de lieu magnifique comme Frenchman’s cove (15min à pied) ou Boston Beach. Le personnel est adorable. Nous avons eu la chance de visiter le studio de musique, c’est impressionnant. Le personnel est au petit soin et la nourriture est très bonne. Je recommande vivement le Geejam pour une parenthèse en famille/couple dans la région de port antonio.
Geejam is off the beaten track in beautiful Portland, Jamaica. As soon as the gates open you know you have arrived at a special place! Wonderful rooms, breathtaking views, great food, friendly staff & the sound of mellow reggae music. You won't want to leave this quiet retreat. We were lucky to have a studio tour with the owner Steve and that was special. There are lots of steps to reach the lovely section of the beach so probably not for the less able bodied. The staff are great and nothing is too much trouble but a special mention to Ricardo at the Bush Bar. He is an asset to the hotel and wouldn't be out of place in a 5 star establishment in London or New York. One love to all the team & we will be back ??
Amazing place to stay. Great facilities, the most comfortable bed i have slept in, delicious food and cocktails and their STAFF is the best. We enjoyed every minute at Geejam. Can’t wait to return.
Our stay at Geejam was amazing, hotel rooms were large and really cool decor, the environment and views were spectacular and the food was incredible. Geejam team couldn’t have been more helpful, always on hand and delivering great customer care. Studio tour was also a great experience
