Guest：We popped in as spotted whilst driving through and so glad we did our meals were lovely. Only down side was the sausages and mash I had was not very hot but it was tasty and my partner had the fish and chips and loved it. We will definitely visit again.
Guest：Had a really nice experience with a lovely lime and soda a met a lovely bar maid by the name of kat, just a shame we couldn't of spent longer in there chatting as we needed to pitch the tents however I will be revisiting.
Guest：This is a fantastic pub, lovely staff and delicious food. We stayed for two nights and had a dinner for a family of 10 on one of the evenings. Everybody had a fantastic meal. I’ve not given 5 stars due to our allocated bedroom. Upon checking in we were given “the hot room” as was explained to us. It was explained there was no other room available but fans and a cooling unit had been placed in the room. However, we could not envisage just how hot this room was. Even with three fans on, the room was jungle temperature plus 80 degrees, and we literally did not sleep on either night. Fortunately, we were not on a walking or activity trip as we would not have been able to complete our activity’s - we’ve come home exhausted. I appreciate the weather was incredibly warm during our stay however, simple fans simply blow round already very hot air and provide little comfort. This room needs a proper air conditioning unit installed - the second day of our trip was ruined as we were so tired, not brilliant when you have a 6 hour drive home the following day let alone having to exert any energy! To the hotel, please please do something with this room, it’s very unhealthy not to mention uncomfortable to have to stay in a room this hot.
